• Leave active Crohn’s elsewhere in bowel alone. If appendix not involved, do appendectomy so diagnosis not in doubt for future
• If appendix is involved: don’t remove owing to chance of complication

Replaced left hepatic artery comes off left gastric artery and is found in gastrohepatic ligament. Slightly less common than replaced right. “Replaced” means the artery is in an unusual location and the only supply to that section.
